volunteer. CHANGE A CHILD’s LIFE.

Join MercyFirst’s community of volunteers who give their time, talents, and resources to help make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. All individuals must be cleared through NYS before they can be involved with our youth. Some ways to give back include:

MENTORING

Provide a positive role model and build relationships of trust and respect by becoming a mentor to one of our youth. Mentorship can provide assurance that there is an adult in their life that cares about them, and has been shown to improve children’s self-esteem. Providing a special one-on-one relationship with a child is also an incredibly rewarding experience for the mentee.

FUNDRAISING / DRIVES

Host your own fundraising event in support of MercyFirst! Involve your friends and family, and make it fun! This is a great opportunity for church, school or scout groups, office fundraisers, volunteer organizations, or dedicated individuals to make a difference with fundraising or through drives, and help those we serve.

CREATIVE SUPPORT

Do you have a creative talent, hobby or expertise you want to share with the children we serve? Photography? Music? Yoga? Graphic design? Your skill and gifts can benefit our youth in so many ways and have a meaningful role that has impact on someone’s life.

UPLIFT
